The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to translate a scientific text and then comment on the various changes and modification it had to undergo in order to attain the approach on the transmission of information as well as the transmitted information itself. Several linguistic viewpoints were implemented, both syntactical and lexical, and the field of “Czenglish” is discussed, a linguistic field closely associated with scientific translations. Additionally, a brief theoretical introduction concerning forms of scientific texts and their properties is included.

The Core of this Commented translation bachelor thesis is the translation of a scientific text from the magazine Energo, which focuses on the field of electrical engineering, mainly the technology of the power supply. A commentary on the differences between the source text and the target text is presented. The topics of transmitting information, cohesion, terminology and localization are discussed. In addition, particularities of the scientific style are debated.

Diplomová práce se zabývá zařazením tématu Léčiva a Farmacie do středoškolského učiva. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí. První se zabývá obsahem učiva léčiva v kurikulárních dokumentech. Ve druhé části se věnuji srovnání vzdělávacích systémů v České republice a Slovinsku a analýze českých a slovinských učebnic pro střední školy a gymnázia. Třetí část práce s názvem Farmacie práce obsahuje odborný text pro učitele středních škol a gymnázií. Jsou v ní obsaženy základní informace o tomto odvětví a materiály, které mohou být využity při výuce. Součástí výukových materiálů je deset laboratorních prací.

Francouzský infinitiv a jeho funkce v odborných textech.

Francouzský infinitiv je neurčitý slovesný tvar, který nevyjadřuje morfologické kategorie osoby, čísla ani způsobu, avšak je schopen vyjádřit kategorii rodu a relativní chronologii. Infinitiv je aspektově nespecifickým a není schopen vyjádřit slovesné časy, které se vztahují k momentu realizace promluvy/diskurzu. Ze syntaktického hlediska může infinitiv plnit funkci primárního či sekundárního predikátu. Ve funkci sekundárního predikátu je pak francouzský infinitiv jedním z jazykových prostředků, který je schopen tvořit polovětné konstrukce. V odborném textu díky výše zmíněným vlastnostem funguje jakožto významný kondenzor a přispívá také k dalším požadavkům odborného textu, totiž k jeho neosobnímu charakteru a nadčasové platnosti.
